The above shelving system has been manufactured out of Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Engineering plastic and Acrylic. This unit has been tested and approved by the Red Cross, covering all "Health and Safety Standards" together with the acceptance for use with platelets. Air circulation between the shelving system is also critical, and the spacing between each shelf is 35 mm. Air circulation around circumference of the unit is a minimum of 25 mm. Air vents in each tray also assist with the circulation of air and help to keep the product cool - temperature - 22 - 24 degrees C. (As specified by the Red Cross) NB: registered design.
